OUR STORY
In 2020, Smart Measures was founded when a group of researchers at The Larry A. Green Center teamed up with their friends at TechNeed, a software development agency. Together, they bring decades of experience and longstanding partnerships to address a critical gap in primary care: the need for accessible, meaningful, and actionable patient-reported data.
Our flagship product, the EASY platform, is the embodiment of this vision. Launched in 2020, EASY quickly demonstrated its value to the primary care community. Its development and subsequent deployment underscored our belief in the power of simple, effective tools to transform the way primary care practices engage with data, all while minimizing the burden of adoption.

Rebecca Etz, PhD is also co-director of the Larry A. Green Center and (with Green Center co-director Kurt Stange, MD PhD) led the team that developed the Person-Centered Primary Care Measure (PCPCM). She is an international leader with 20 years experience in primary care, practice transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
SARAH REVES

Sarah is also deputy director of the Larry A. Green Center and was part of the team that developed the EASY platform. Sarah was the managing partner of her clinical practice and beta tester for EHRs for close to 20 years before joining our team.
BRENDAN ELLIOTT

Bringing over 25 years in software engineering experience, Brendan has a rich background in healthcare-related apps, digital transformation, streaming media, cryptography, and digital rights management. He now leads our product strategy and software development teams leveraging his extensive experience to ensure strategic success.
